One of the most difficult decisions a Christian will make is leaving their church home. Unfortunately, things may happen that cause a person to question their fellowship, the local church community. In a consumer-driven world, the temptation is to see the local church as a “product” and to reduce our motivation by what is most suitable to our likes and tastes. Yet there may be serious considerations that come into play: doctrine, inadequate programs for children and teens, differing music styles and tastes, unrelenting personal conflicts, location, pastoral idiosyncrasies, leadership styles, and the list goes on.
