One of the most important decisions a Christian will make is the choice of a church body to become part of. This will determine the part of the universal Christian family you will spend most of your time with as you worship, serve, learn, and grow together as the local body of Christ. The ramifications are huge, all things considered, so it is important that you make a wise, Spirit-led decision. Things to consider are: 1) your motive for looking for a new church, 2) the ministry, biblical and personal criteria for evaluating a potential new church, and finally, 3) the secondary criteria (which need to remain secondary).
