3,000 Celebration – Getting Your Church on the Same Page

A Great Idea

As we celebrate the 3,000th E-med milestone this week, we want to share a great idea with all our readers and churches. Every church wants its believers to read the Word daily, and most Christians know they should, but many fail in the practical side of doing it (like new year’s resolutions that disappear by the end of January or earlier). How can a Christian keep up and not give up?

A Practical, User-friendly, Accessible Plan

Now you can lead God’s people to being literally on the same page throughout the year – AND not add another meeting to an already busy church calendar. How does it work? Read on.

We have collected the E-meds into book form, each covering a Bible book, section, or topic. Currently, we have nine books to choose from and call them our Day-by-Day book series. Each book stands alone and is geared to five single-page weekday readings per week covering 52 weeks in a year.

Here is what one church is doing

One church ordered 150 copies of the “Day by Day: The Names of God” book, one for each congregation member. Beginning the first of the year, the church leaders will encourage everyone to read one page per day, at the same pace. This will help the congregation grow in their knowledge of God (see 2 Peter 3:18) as they read about the meanings of our Lord’s various names and epithets throughout the Bible.

Imagine:

  • Your entire church discovering more and more about God’s greatness—and doing it on the same page!
  • The impact this can have without adding one more meeting to an already busy church calendar!
  • The inherent positive peer influence encouraging every believer to develop the daily discipline of being in God’s Word!
  • The spiritual discussion occurring between Sunday services when everyone is focused in unity.

May the Lord help you and your church grow into the fullness of Christ!

In the Name of the Living Word, Jesus Christ,
Chuck Gianotti

In Praise of Feminine Beauty: A Mother’s Day Message

With each passing decade of motherhood, we gradually exchange perishable beauty for the imperishable kind. It starts when we are young, our bellies expanding to grow and nourish children. Stretch marks and loose skin arrive, perhaps to stay, sometimes accompanied by...

Pure Praise – Psalm 150

1Praise the Lord … 6Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. This psalm concludes the inspired biblical collection of one hundred and fifty psalms (also called poems, songs, or chapters). The six verses of Psalm 150 are saturated with thirteen...

Priesthood for “Average” Believers

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, then you are a believer-priest. That’s amazing! What?? Let me explain. In the New Testament (NT), there is no special clergy class that is holier than the rest of us, a cut above the rank and...

Superlative Praise – Psalm 149

1Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, and His praise in the congregation of the godly ones. Superlative praise, extolling God ‘to the max,’ is the theme of this psalm. There is nothing meager about this kind of praise. It is the antidote to an old and tired...
