Where do we find Bible verses to help us when we need them? The list found HERE has been helpful to me at different times in my life.

One of the best ways, however, to discover verses that give us hope and promises for the different challenges we face is from our fellow Christians. In small group fellowship, when someone asks for prayer for a struggle in their lives, I like to throw it out to the group. For example, if someone says, “I’m fighting anxiety over my job security …,” I ask the group, “Has anyone here ever struggled with anxiety? What verses in Scripture have helped you?” Rarely has the room gone quiet when I’ve done this. Usually, the sharing turns out to be authentic and spiritually helpful.
