Happy New Year!

by | Holidays

Now’s the time to begin a new year with E-Meds.  Starting tomorrow (Jan. 3, 2022), we will have five themes, one for each weekday. Most of these will be longer than the traditional E-Med length, but we hope you find these worth your while:

Mondays – God’s Wisdom from the book of Proverbs, containing meditations and applications.

Tuesdays – Godly Emotions from the book of Psalms. Exposition and application of Psalms to our daily lives.

Wednesdays – From the Farm. Stories from an ordinary life and background to show God’s glory even in the mundane.

Thursday – IMHO Blog. Comments on current trends and issues in the news from a biblical perspective (in my humble opinion).

Friday – Christ Centered Worship. Devotions to prepare our souls for worship in general and for remembering the Lord at communion (aka “the Lord’s Supper”).

Enjoy and be blessed, beginning tomorrow, Monday, January 3, 2022.

Remember, you can use the previous E-Med series (10 series to choose from) that will take you daily consecutively Scripture. For more information, click here.

Pure Praise – Psalm 150

1Praise the Lord … 6Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. This psalm concludes the inspired biblical collection of one hundred and fifty psalms (also called poems, songs, or chapters). The six verses of Psalm 150 are saturated with thirteen...

Priesthood for “Average” Believers

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, then you are a believer-priest. That’s amazing! What?? Let me explain. In the New Testament (NT), there is no special clergy class that is holier than the rest of us, a cut above the rank and...

Superlative Praise – Psalm 149

1Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, and His praise in the congregation of the godly ones. Superlative praise, extolling God ‘to the max,’ is the theme of this psalm. There is nothing meager about this kind of praise. It is the antidote to an old and tired...
