He Saw the Blood.

During a recent terrorist siege on a mall in Kenya (September 2013) where  67 victims were tortured, maimed or mutilated, one survivor told of finding a teenager who had been shot and died, with his blood still flowing. She smeared some of his blood on herself, covered her face with her hair and pretended to be dead. The terrorist saw the blood on her and assumed she was dead. She later said, “His blood protected me.”  And it did, it protected her from being killed by the terrorists

We have a Savior whose blood protects us from far greater death, the spiritual death by the terrorism called sin. God sees the blood of His Son and sees us as dead with Him. (Romans 6:8 , Col 2:20). Praise God! Amen? Amen!

Priesthood for “Average” Believers

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, then you are a believer-priest. That’s amazing! What?? Let me explain. In the New Testament (NT), there is no special clergy class that is holier than the rest of us, a cut above the rank and...

Superlative Praise – Psalm 149

1Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, and His praise in the congregation of the godly ones. Superlative praise, extolling God ‘to the max,’ is the theme of this psalm. There is nothing meager about this kind of praise. It is the antidote to an old and tired...
