Leadership is important. History highlights leaders who impacted their world. When I speak about leaders in the church, I don’t just mean pastors. The people of God desperately need visionary leaders, not only within formal administrative structures or in positions traditionally identified as leadership offices. Visionary leaders are the ones who can see the future in a way that others cannot. They don’t debate predestination and passively let the future happen. They have faith that sees the future as God would see it and they act now to lead others into it.
